Storytelling Contest 2007 Oral Storytelling Contest
Sponsored by the Writers' League of Texas in cooperation with Writing Across
Texas The 2007 winners have been announced! The Oral Storytelling
Competition gives storytellers residing in Texas the opportunity to become a part
of the Writing Across Texas DVD series and to have their storytelling talents
seen on TV. Writing Across Texas, also a project of the Writers' League of Texas,
is a television program focusing on the art and craft of writing and storytelling.
The winner of the oral storytelling competition will be interviewed for a special
episode of Writing Across Texas and will perform his or her winning story as part
of that episode.
