features four Pre-Conference Pitch Workshops taught by an agent or editor. This
is a fantastic opportunity to learn how to pitch your manuscript or non-fiction
book proposal from an experienced veteran of the publishing industry. The pre-conference
workshops are scheduled for Friday, June 20, 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM, and will take
place at the Austin Sheraton Hotel, 701 East 11th St., Austin.

basis at the Sheraton Austin Hotel, 701 East

p.m. We will take walk-up registrations until all appointments
are filled.
Refund Policy: December 22 - February 29: 50%
refund available. March 1 - June 20: No refunds made.

Lodging
Conference headquarters will be the Austin Sheraton
Hotel, 701 East 11th Street, Austin. A limited number
of rooms have been reserved for conference participants
at the special rates of $129 for single rooms, $149
for double rooms. To qualify for these rates, conference
participants must make reservations by Wednesday, May
28, 2008. For reservations, call 512.478.1111. Identify
yourself as a participant in the Writers' League of
Texas conference.
