Honoring Lawrence Wright

Lawrence Wright
is an Austin-based author and staff writer for The
New Yorker. His most recent book, The Looming
Tower: Al-Qaeda and the Road to 9/11, was awarded
a Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction earlier this
year. Wright has appeared in his own stage adaptation
of The Looming Tower entitled My Trip to Al-Qaeda.
His other books include, among others, Noriega: God's
Favorite, Twins: And What They Tell Us About
Who We Are, and Remembering Satan. Wright
also wrote the screenplay for The Siege, the
film starring Denzel Washington, Annette Bening, and
Bruce Willis.
