Volunteers Wrap Gifts for Scholarship Fund

SIXTY-ONE League volunteers spent over 300 hours wrapping gifts in December 2008, earning $3,145 for the Bess Whitehead Scott Scholarship Fund. MARTHA MILLER coordinated the project for the fifth year in a row, and scheduled wrappers who worked at five bookstores: the Arboretum, Westlake and Sunset Valley Barnes & Noble; Book People and Borders (Domain) bookstores in Austin.

A huge gold star for wrapping the most hours was shared by KEN LOVELESS, who worked six shifts, and CAMILLE NERADA, who did four. Volunteers with names in all capitals below (21 total) worked two shifts or more.
