Current Staff

J Evan Parks (he/him) is a writer and creative living in Austin, TX, where he works as the Executive Director of the Writers’ League of Texas. He is a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin. Currently, he writes for various tabletop role-playing games, with both officially published content as well as independently published supplements. His game, Ritual Deck, was published by Plus One Exp in November 2025.

Sarah Renee Beach is an Austin-based poet and writer originally from Southeast Texas. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from The New School and is an alum of the Tin House Summer Workshop. Her poetry chapbook Impact won Sundress Publications’ 2022 Chapbook Contest, and her nonfiction can be found in The Sewanee Review and, later this year, in the Indiana Review. Lore Arnold (they/them) is a writer and creative living in Austin, TX. They are the Program & Member Services Manager for the Writers’ League of Texas and co-organize the (Title)(Title) Writing Group. They graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a double major in geology and chemistry, a minor in English, and an honors certificate in creative writing. As a writer, they are currently adapting their undergraduate thesis, Yours is the Earth, into a novella, codifying their TTRPG game world, The Undercity, and working on several short stories. In their free time, they run a homebrew fifth edition D&D campaign, play board games with friends, and chat about media.

Bri Landry is a writer born and raised in Austin. Texas. She earned her degree in Writing at Savannah College of Art and Design. Bri has been published in Artemis, in-Transit, and more recently, UX Writing Hub, and Half and One. When Bri isn’t writing non-fiction she hosts Creative Money ATX, a podcast where she interviews local artists about how they make a living here in Austin.

Vasundhara Jayender (she/her) is a junior English and International Relations & Global Studies double major with a certificate in Creative Writing at the University of Texas at Austin. She is the author of Untold (2022), an anthology of fractured fairy tales, and she writes for her blog and Substack. In her free time, she loves reading, baking, and spending time with her friends.

Katie Manz is an English and History major at the University of Texas at Austin with certificates in Business Spanish and Criminal Law, Justice, and Inequality. She writes everything and everywhere. If you happen upon her in public, she’s likely writing a piece for the Texas Undergraduate Law Journal or SPARK Magazine while watching baseball.

Samantha Natividad is a senior Journalism major with a minor in Global Communications at the University of Texas at Austin. She is passionate about studying data journalism, international reporting, and cultural storytelling. Her biggest dream is to travel the world and open her own bookstore. On her days off, she enjoys cooking Filipino food, eating out, and game nights with her friends. Her favorite book is The Love of Her Afterlife by Kirsty Greenwood.
