On Saturday, May 20, join us for the May Agents Symposium presentation:
“Between Signing & Submission: The Agent/Author Relationship” with Seth Fishman of The Gernert Company
In this presentation, we’ll dive into what happens after you’ve signed with a literary agent. We’ll cover everything from what to expect after you’ve both said “yes!” to working together to what you can look forward to as you ready your work with an eye towards submitting to publishers, including the revision process and more.
The 30-minute presentation will be followed by a moderated conversation and an audience Q&A. For the conversation, our presenter Seth Fishman will be joined by WLT ED Becka Oliver.

About the 2023 Agents Symposium:
The 2023 Agents Symposium is a curated year-long experience (February through November) that brings writers into a virtual space to connect with and learn from ten literary agents who are at the top of their game.
The ten participating literary agents represent a wide array of genres and categories. They have a cumulative 100+ years of experience in the publishing industry and they work at established literary agencies and with an impressive roster of clients. Each of the participating literary agents will join us for a Saturday session where they’ll give a presentation on a topic related to traditional publishing, followed by a conversation with a WLT staffer and closing with an extended Q&A.
Once a purchase has been made, registrations are not refundable and cannot be transferred to a different class or event. No exceptions will be made. If you purchase a registration and then find you can no longer attend, someone else can attend in your stead. Simply contact us at email@example.com and let us know the name and contact information for the person who will be using the registration so that we can update the event roster.
The WLT reserves to right to change or modify the schedule as needed and registrants will be alerted to any changes.
