The 2023 Agents Symposium is a curated year-long experience (February through November) that brings writers into a virtual space to connect with and learn about publishing today from featured literary agents.
On Saturday, March 25, join us for the March Agents Symposium presentation:
About the event:
In this presentation, we’ll spend some time demystifying the querying process. We’ll unpack how to approach literary agents, including what you should do when querying, what you absolutely shouldn’t, and why putting yourself and your work out there doesn’t need to be as stressful or intimidating as you think. Because, at the end of the day, the agents you’ll be querying are in it to make books happen, they want to discover new writers, so we’ll also spend a bit of time talking about that.
The 30-minute presentation will be followed by a moderated conversation and an audience Q&A. For the conversation, our presenter Eric Smith will be joined by WLT ED Becka Oliver.
Do you have burning questions about preparing for the agent search that you want to make sure we answer? You can share them with us ahead of the event via this form and then tune in for the live webinar on Saturday, March 25 where all will be revealed. The deadline to submit your questions is Thursday, March 23 at 5 PM CST (questions will also be accepted via the Q&A box during the event).
If you cannot make the live webinar, everyone who registers will receive access to the event recording for one month.
Registration for this program will close on Friday, March 24 at 5:00 PM CST.
