WLT Members! If you’re looking to polish your query letters and synopses, join us for a week of intensives to workshop and receive feedback on your querying materials. Starting Monday, August 29th, we’re hosting two intensives on synopses (Monday, August 29th & Thursday, September 1st) and two intensives on query letters (Tuesday, August 30th and Wednesday, August 31st). There are only ten spots per intensive, so sign up before they sell out!
Due to popular demand, we’ve added a third query letter intensive on Wednesday, September 7th.
Are you struggling to write a novel synopsis to send to potential agents?
In this special evening intensive class, you will learn the necessary components of a novel synopsis in the classroom component, and then work on your own synopsis in the lab component. Students will leave the class with a draft or revision of a synopsis for their writing project.
Prior to the class, each student will send the following to the instructor:
- Two-page synopsis draft for your writing project
- Your author bio.
If you don’t have any or all of these things, you can still attend the class, but we do urge you to send in what you can in order to have a richer experience.
Sign up soon (current members only!), as registration will be strictly capped at 10.
TAKE THIS CLASS IF
- You want to learn strategies for writing effective novel synopses.
- You want feedback on your own synopsis
The deadline to register for this class is Monday, August 29 at 5:00 PM CDT.
