WLT hosts Third Thursday each month, featuring discussions focusing on specific topics of interest to writers and readers, bringing together distinguished panelists for conversations moderated by a WLT staff member.

In June, join us for a conversation with three writers who have published or will publish debut novels this year. We’ll discuss the journey so far including everything from knowing when you’re ready to submit, to querying literary agents, to the book deal & all of the preparation for publication to the post publication experience, including the highs and the lows and the in-betweens of having a book out in the world. This is a special opportunity to hear about everything that makes up the unique and thrilling experience of publishing your debut novel from the fresh perspectives of three authors who are still navigating this journey.

This conversation will be moderated by WLT Executive Director Becka Oliver.

Plus, this summer, we’ll be reading all three of these debut novels in our annual WLT Summer Bookclub. We’ll get together on Zoom in August to discuss each of the books – August 8, August 15, and August 22. Each discussion will be led by a WLT staff member and our featured authors will be stopping by for the fun. Save the dates and order the books today!
