March Third Thursday: Comfort Writing: Writing About Food

March 18, 2021 8:00 PM - 9:30 PM CDT

March Third Thursday
  • This event has passed.
WLT hosts Third Thursday each month, featuring discussions focusing on specific topics of interest to writers and readers, bringing together distinguished panelists for conversations moderated by a WLT staff member.

Let’s talk about food. Whether it’s family or friends sitting at the dinner table at the end of the day, or the passing down of recipes from generation to generation, food bridges divides and makes us feel at home and connected to each other. But how do you capture a good meal or recipe on the page? And how can writers use food as a way to understand the world around them?

Join us for our March Third Thursday as we dive into writing about food. This conversation will be moderated by WLT Program Director Sam Babiak.
