What’s the difference between a grant, residency, and fellowship anyways? What are the pros and cons? Where do I even start?
This class will introduce students to the definitions, concepts, and terms often encountered when applying for opportunities. You’ll learn where to look for opportunities, how to determine whether an opportunity might be a good fit, what materials are required for each, and how to prepare for the application process. Ultimately, this class will give writers a foundation for finding and securing opportunities to support their writing projects.
TAKE THIS CLASS IF:
- You’re not sure what is required to secure a residency, fellowship, or grant.
- You’ve never applied for an opportunity and want an idea on how to start.
- You’ve applied for opportunities and, successful or not, want a new way to engage with this process.
- You want ideas to make the application process easier.
The deadline to register for this class is Friday, November 8 at 5:00 PM CST.
