Can’t make it to the live class? No problem! All classes are recorded and made available to class registrants for one month.
Revision means to look at our work again – but this can be difficult because we are already so invested in what we have on the page.
When it comes to revising book-length work, like a novel or a memoir, we can become unsure how to proceed with making the work better. This class will help close the gap between what we already have and what we need in order to invite readers to stay engaged at all times. In this three-hour class, we will play with exercises that allow us to gain distance and objectivity on our current work so that we can move it toward greater clarity and impact. Students will come away from this class feeling empowered and with a clear game plan for how to take their work to the next level.
TAKE THIS CLASS IF:
- You’re heading into the revision process for a book-length work but don’t know where to start.
- You have a completed draft of a manuscript or are close to having a completed manuscript and want to better understand what you need to do in the revision stages.
- You are currently planning of a book-length project and are worried about revision.
- You find revision to be the most daunting part of the writing process.
The deadline to register for this class is Friday, June 16 at 5:00 PM CT.
