Constant tension leads to constant reading. Learn how to create suspense to keep your readers hooked.

In this class we will work on developing an understanding of how twists and turns operate in fiction, including how and why they fail. We’ll explore the use of red herrings, discuss ways to create tension in a narrative, and look at exercises that will help us create suspense that keeps readers turning the page.

TAKE THIS CLASS IF:

  • You write crime, mystery, thrillers, suspense, cozy mysteries, PI fiction, whoduinits, or noir.
  • You want to build tension that impacts your readers.
  • You want to create believable and surprising twists in your story.

The deadline to register for this class is Friday, March 3 at 5:00 PM CT.
