Here’s another short story contest for all you writers out there! Fault Zone: Words from the Edge is an anthology of short stories published by the SF/Peninsula Branch of California Writers. They’re looking for stories with a California slant and a good slice of life. So if you already have a story in the works or if this stirs up those creative juices, this is a contest for you!
The deadline is August 15, 2010. First prize winner will be awarded $300 and publication in the anthology. Second prize is $100 and third prize is $50. The reading fee will be $15.
Here are the submission guidelines:
- Submit 2 copies of your short story or stand-alone novel excerpt. Title and author should be on each page, as well as page number. Include word count on first page. Please submit work typed, double-spaced, 12 pt. Times Roman, with standard one inch margins
- 2,500 word limit
