Last Chance to Register for the Country’s First Young Adult Conference – The Writers’ League of Texas YA A to Z!
This two-day conference is the place to learn everything you need to know about writing for the young adult market. There will be 20 + panels on craft and business featuring leading authors, agents, and editors. Also look for the consultations, parties, craft classes, and an amazing keynote speech by author Tim Wynne-Jones! You have through this weekend to register for the conference at the current prices, after which all registration will take place at the door at a higher price scale. Write By Night Offers Services to Writers on their New Website
WriteByNight has launched its new website (still at WriteByNight.net) and has expanded its offerings in order to better serve novices and professional writers alike. Visit the site to find additional writers’ services, new membership benefits, a library of educational videos, a snazzier version of WriteByNight’s blog, and more. To celebrate the site launch, WriteByNight is offering $30 toward a manuscript consultation from now until April 30th.
The Montreal International Poetry Prize and Global Anthology
The Montreal International Poetry Prize will award $50,000 for a single poem in any style and in any English dialect. They will also produce an annual global poetry anthology. An international board of poets will select 50 poems for the competition’s shortlist, which will be published in a unique global poetry anthology, representing the very latest work from around the world.
