Letters from the Program Director: Get Your Book in Readers’ Hands

Hello, writers!

When we talk about the business of publishing, we tend to focus our conversations on getting those big ‘yeses’ from an agent and an editor, but a writer’s work doesn’t end there. Once a book is ready to go out into the world, writers are expected to work with their publishing team to help market their book and get it into readers’ hands. This part of the process can be particularly daunting for many writers, especially for those who aren’t sure what to expect.

That’s why we’re excited to offer the class “Marketing & Publicity for Authors: Working with Your Publishing Team” with Katharine Duckett on Wednesday, June 7. If you’re interested in learning more about working with publishers to promote and market your work, this class is for you.

All the best,
Sam Babiak
Program Director
