“I’m hoping my writing brings me beautiful surprises, deep healing, and meaningful connections.“

Scribe: Welcome, writer! Tell us — what do you write?
Bo Schwabacher: I love to write poetry, essays, and stories.
Scribe: If you could choose one author to blurb your book, who would it be, and what would you want it to say?
BS: Wonderful question! I’ll have to think some more about it.
Scribe: You have one book you’re allowed to push onto all of your friends, and they’re forced to read it to remain your friend — which one would you choose?
BS: Pachinko by Min Jin Lee. I love this book and feel that many people will love it, too.
Scribe: Tell us your WLT story.
BS: I’m new to Austin, and I came across WLT. I love how you nurture a writing community and come together to support one another.
Scribe: Where do you see your writing taking you (or you taking it) in the future?
BS: I’m hoping my writing brings me beautiful surprises, deep healing, and meaningful connections.
Scribe: Here at the WLT, we love sharing book recommendations. What’s one book that has come out within the past few years that you couldn’t put down? (Bonus points if the book is Texas related!)
BS: Su Hwang’s Bodega (2019), an amazing collection of poetry.
Scribe: Is there anything else about you that you would like to share with the world? An opportunity for blatant self-promotion!
BS: Looking forward to getting to know members of WLT!
Scribe: Where can our readers find more of you?
BS: Here’s a link to purchase my collection of poetry.
