Scribe: Welcome, writer! Tell us — what do you write?

Robert Almada: I write about our connection with Nature and how we can solve all or our problems via The System of Nature.

Scribe: If you could choose one author to blurb your book, who would it be, and what would you want it to say?

RA: Susan Violante – Within the author’s narration there are many current and relevant topics like addiction, family trauma, homosexuality, anger, insecurity, etc.

Scribe: You have one book you’re allowed to push onto all of your friends, and they’re forced to read it to remain your friend — which one would you choose?

RA: The System of Nature by Paul Henri Thierry – This book inspired me to start writing.

Scribe: Tell us your WLT story.

RA: I found WLT through two members who are on staff with Reader Views: Susan Violante and Sheri Hoyte. They are coaching me on getting my book published.

Scribe: Where do you see your writing taking you (or you taking it) in the future?

RA: I want to publish my current book with a credible agent and publisher.

Scribe: Here at the WLT, we love sharing book recommendations. What’s one book that has come out within the past few years that you couldn’t put down? (Bonus points if the book is Texas related!)

RA: The last book I read was Journey to Ixtlan by Carlos Castaneda – I’ve not read anything that has been published in the last year.

Scribe: Is there anything else about you that you would like to share with the world? An opportunity for blatant self-promotion!

RA: I’m a retired math teacher currently teaching Tennis.

Scribe: Let us know any social media handles you have!

RA: balmada49 is my handle on Instagram.
