Update: A West Texas Two-fer!

Our Texas Writes program is once again hosting free in-person writing workshops at rural libraries across the state.

THIS WEEKEND, we’re excited to host two writing workshops back to back in West Texas – in Fort Davis on Friday, June 10 and in Alpine on Saturday, June 11.

On Friday, June 10, we’ll be at the Jeff Davis County Library in Fort Davis, TX with presentations by Stacey Swann (on “Past Page One: Moving Writing Projects Forward”) and Becka Oliver (on “The Path to Publication”).

On Saturday, June 11, we’ll be at the Alpine Public Library in Alpine, TX with presentations by Jodi Egerton (on “Word Play!”) and Owen Egerton (on “The Red Hot Core”).

Made possible with the generous support of the Tocker Foundation, Texas Writes is a statewide program that brings accomplished authors to rural libraries for a half day of presentations and panel discussions. Whatever you might be writing (fiction, memoir, poetry), this program is always a great opportunity to meet other writers, learn something new about the craft, and visit a community library. Each event is FREE and open to the public, though pre-registration is suggested.

We hope you’ll join us at one (OR BOTH) of these events!
